Does anyone remember a flash site that was a World War II-based story and the front page of the site had a scene with soldiers and as you moved the mouse cursor to the left and right, the background would move slower than the foreground images of the troops creating the illusion of a 3-d environment?

The 3-d environment effect is called parallax. Are you looking for that site specifically because of the effect or because of the War theme?

it wasn't for a game, at least i don't think it was. i thought it was more for a museum exhibit. the home page scene were soldiers outside, with a jeep or something and i thought they were in snow?

Does anyone remember the site that was a Newstoday Feature. Something like Non-circle?? It had a sweet Carl Saban typeface on it. btw. are those old Select Featured sites cataloged anywhere?
