  Did you guys know that Best Buy's hvac/electrical system was computer controlled from their home office in Duluth Minnesota? The system was only "protected" by a 4 digit password.

  Awhile back I worked for a telecom in KC and I saw this robotic arm in the data center that looked almost identical to the one in Hackers (when he hacks the tv network to play the Outer Limits tape) only it was used for digital backup tapes....pretty sweet.

  I really want to write a file explorer in OpenGL that looks exactly like that.

  I wonder what would happen if a few of us took our laptops to Grand Central and stood inside a bunch of payphones, typing furiously, spouting out ridiculous technical jargon and randomly cheering in public, with that animation playing on our screens.
