I'd like to make some "wallpaper"... 99 Responses

So, I'm an architect and a want to "wallpaper" a huge (15' high x 35' wide) graphic onto a blank wall.
I haven't really done anything like this before. My image will be from a photograph or scan and I'd like a traditional (more three-color/comic book or screen printed as opposed to a pixel-based) method of printing to achieve this look. I realize I can't get single sheets but the larger the better.
I'm in D.C. and the project's in Ohio.
As a starting point, can you guys point me in the direction of any methods/techniques/people I should look into?
Thanks so much.

Dick around with this http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator… , then find someone with an A3+ roll-capable printer.

You might want to talk to a billboard printing company, considering they specialize in the printing of very large things.

check out http://www.vgl.co.uk or http://www.surfaceview.co.uk (although you can't pick your own image here as they're selected from various galleries etc.)
