I've got a pc laptop and for some reason when I write text, it writes it in reverse in all apps. for example "cat" would read "tac"?
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
I usually work on a mac, so I'm not that great on pc's.

You could start by going to:
Start \ Settings \ Control Panel \ Regional & Language options
and check that's all set to English\United Kingdom

This is strange, I have been on the PC for ages and I too have never heard about this problem. When did this start? Remember what you where doing before the text reversed? As Mishga said with some laptops you have the p or fn keys and when they are click together with any F key are able to change things like contrast ect.

If you type 'c' and then 'a' the a jumps the 'c' and then if you type 't' the t jumps the 'a', thus reading 'tac' instead of 'cat'

This whole thing is a bit strange, reading the blog link that Jay sent, it could be that this is a malicious file, opening a .scr file and getting a virus of some kind. Could also be dodge software, could be anything. We don't even know the OS!! If a restart and virus/spy check won't do it I don't know what could.

When you find out what is causing it let me know, sounds like a good prank to pull on someone.

It sounds like a Hebrew language setting. I think it's right ctrl+shift to change the type direction.
