  I know i'm in for it but tell me what you think of this. i just designed it and it's in production. I had 5 days to do it, so I didn;t have a lot of time to play around...

  dig it. could use some more color. the grey is very flat compared to the red. if it weren't for the photos i would think the copy was in grey scale. maybe red in the links. also the arrows you have for the photo gallery are nice i would try to incorporate those more where you see other arrows... (again in the links) of course, if you make these red it may sort the issue

  i agree the footer needs some work, but if you have no control then what can you do. to be honest i didn't even notice it until bullet mentioned it

  Not too keen on the way Beijing overlaps the date, and seeing brush script look consistently the same between letterforms is a bug bear of mine, so if you could make one of those 0s look a little different, I'd really appreciate it :)

  If I were you, I'd try a version where the 'sports', 'medal tally' etc headers are on red (orm at least, not light grey) backgrounds, but I guess that might look quite heavy?

  Is there any way you could 'muss up' the dragon form at top - or perhaps slightly alter the colouration across it (ie, something like a gradient), so it doesn't look like a form dumped in their and the Multiply Layer option turned on?

  There's yellow in the Chinese flag too, did you consider using that anywhere?

  I think it looks good though, I like.
