Yhea I like it, they have some real nice work on their site. You gonna go for it? They seem like a nice little company.

I like the free desk bit, dunno if I'd want the guarantee of work though!
:D
- But if you your own clients then you are not 100% reliant with no overheadsDancer
- Dancer0
I wonder how it would work though.
Could you reject projects or does their work superseed your own clients?
The concept is interesting though
- kinobe0
looks like they are looking for an employee
- kinobe0
free desk space
take on their workload
- Dancer0
...with your own clients as well
- kinobe0
yeh but does that mean u have to return the favour by sharing your work ?
also what takes priority ? if they want you to do a project which is why there looking for a designer and you have enough on yourself, then they aren't really benefitting from this deal
- That's what I was saying ^...
They are benefiting because they make money from your work though...Dancer
- That's what I was saying ^...

wouldnt bother then dancer
although i would be tempted just to say to them thatif they want to outsource anything to u then your happy with that.that way no strings attached

I disagree.
It is a good idea and certainly worth investigating and asking questions.
Unfortunately, as stated above, I already have a studio which is free and easily commutable- fair do. u might me asking
how long have u been working for uself for and how long did have u bin in the industrykinobe - fuck me - i read things back to myself and think what a fuckin retardkinobe

nothing is free... plus they could possibly be like a client you can't avoid since you're sat in the same office as them... might be completely wrong though

If you're looking for a new venture I'd give them a call, but I if were you Dancer I'd continue as you are. By the sounds of it you're doing really well and you have a great space to work in.

I just thought that it is an interesting why of approaching the work load over flow.... I think they are looking for some one with experience and hopefully they would respect ones' own workload/clients as well.
Alot of questions would need to be asked and yes I do have a studio which takes 30 seconds to get to. I will not be going for it but as said I thought it was interesting

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this advert or proposition that I can see, you get a desk within a company therefore you get interacion and can get inspiration from others, you get work on your desk from them and you can simply continue with your other jobs, and you get to charge the company for the priveledge of letting you work for them!!! seems pretty good to me.
