why on earth, anyone would think a "high interest rate" would be found in a 'savings account' through a bank baffles my mind. best of luck duder.
- yeah it's what, like 3% these days? highway robbery...Greedo
- i guess you dont have any savings. douche.Knowledge_j

The ING Orange account was at 5% but has went down to 3% over the last 2 years.
- Yeah, adjustable interest rates will do that. Still, it's as high or higher than some CDs.TheFatBaron

you dont want a savings account, you want a money market account or a CD

Mine at Wells Fargo is at 22%.....oh wait that's my credit card APR.

Since high interest savings accounts limit your access to your money anyway, look at term deposits as another option to consider. But the interest rates may not be much higher.

my eTrade money market account is around 4.75%. Money market accounts are still liquid with a little higher interest rate.

The rates seems pretty good without penalties for early withdrawal:
- 1 - 1.5% !?!? that's not good by anyone's measure, dudemonospaced
- Pretty good for cd'spinkfloyd
- you need to relax...pinkfloyd
- I'm relaxed, but those are such shit returns it isn't even worth it. $100 return on a $10,000 investment after one year? please.monospaced
- Plus, CDs aren't even savings accounts. Do you not remember when a savings account had 5% returns, standard?monospaced
- Show me 5% savings today, because that's more relevant for me. I'm looking for a no risk investment and i'm not going into the stock market anytime soon.pinkfloyd
- And 10k is peanuts, I would be investing way more so my returns will be fine for the time being.pinkfloyd
- I don't want to deal with any stock market or any risks period for the near future.pinkfloyd
- Going back to my original point, show me an investment that's risk free with a better return than 1.5%pinkfloyd
- please, who says that? lolpinkfloyd
- I find your online persona strange and erratic and wouldn't be surprised if you were on meds on top of your recreational drug damage.pinkfloyd
- One day your nice, and then you get all bipolar the next second.pinkfloyd
- You honestly don't make sense to mepinkfloyd
