i liked the uk kitchen nightmares, but the us version was horrendous. mostly down to the opening graphics. those knives! what decade is this, i ask you!?!?!

used to hate him til i watched the F word. then i realized he's a really nice guy, passionate and when he gets pissed there's usually a reason. he does have anger management issues but that side of him has been so inflated...when you see the show you see a nice balance and he seems like a decent guy.
- +loads. I always thought he was sound and one of the least bullshitty people on tv, unlike most of those cunts.mikotondria3

I think Gordon Ramsay's great, he shouts at people when they're lazy and stupid, like he should - he only talks when he knows exactly what he's talking about, and he's just there to get the job done not pussy around with people's egos or feelings, he's actually quite an inspiration on straight-talk and good principles or food prep.

I read the Marco Pierre White book while I was on honeymoon... he is a top bloke, and Gordon sounded cool when he worked for him, like when he'd punch a customer and have to get the teeth out of his knuckles...
They fell out in the end, Marco was a bit of a cock, but Ramsey also took a hidden TV crew to Marco's wedding... which is well out of order
- sorry honey I have a headache, I'd rather read about a chefLlyod

My girlfriend and I agree. His BBC programming is great, his Fox (US) programming is complete horse shit.
Kitchen Nightmares for instance. The UK version is so dead on with the restaurant industry, it's businesses that just can't get over that hump into complete success. The US version is just a circus freak show of the most foul kitchen sites ever.
But U.S. network television reminds me of the movie Idiocracy more often than not.

its all about his managemnt skills, you'll find it in most kitchens...the head chef is a hard ass bastard.....We interviewed him recently and he's a very polite man with a decent sense of respect for others....

Kitchen Nightmares is great, UK ver interesting the US ver is more just a comedy but still watchable for a laugh compared to most trash on TV these days.
F-Word is pretty dull.I'd watch him any day over Jamie "Flavour Shaker" Oliver

He seems like he could be a cock, but alot of what he tells these dying cafe's on his BBC show seems to be correct and work out for them.. I enjoy the BBC show, but not that F word crap.. you can't mix a chat show with kitchen cussing..

Doesn't he have a video game ?

i love hell's kitchen, but i'm really surprised nobody's taken a knife to his face the way he completely destroys people on that show...

Even though he comes off as a total tool, he is brilliant at what he does and loves to cause train wrecks, thats gold.

I wish there was one design related show, whether it be like the F-Word or Project Runway/Top Chef, or something.
The closest was that inventions show with Karim Rashid. What a drag that shit was.
