I just looked down to the left of my desk, and there is a bat laying on the ground next to the wall! WTF!? What do I do with it? How do I get it out? How did it get in here? Shit, that thing looks creepy.

first. breathe. how big? if it is small, get a big jar + thick paper to slide under it and capture it. let it outside. try to be quiet and not make any sudden movements.

Just think "big spider," but bigger. Get it out of your house, but don't hurt it. This happened in our house a couple of times when I was a kid, but they'd usually fly back out of their own volition.

Bats are pretty cool, I think.

if it looks sick and is one the ground it most likely has rabies. Do not let it bite you.

Slowly get out your AK-47, cock it back slowlllllyyy. Let it rip, tear that muthafucking bat to bits. Then head down to home depot to buy some wall spackle to fill-in the bullet holes that you left in the wall.

yeah, it'll do that. if you put the jar over it, it'll peobably scream in anguish. don't worry. just relax and use a strong piece of cardboard to slide under the jar to coax it over it and into the jar. take outside. pull off jar, leave bat on cardboard outside (preferably in a secluded spot).

is it daylight? either put on gloves and grab it, put it outside or call animal control and they will come get it. I've been through this 3 times.

cute, right get some thick gloves on and a pint glass they are very slow moving, pop the glass over it and slide a cardboard sheet under it then stare at it for a while and wonder at the timeless beauty of the world and nature, then fucking whang it out the window yo!. They carry rabies by the way so fucking be careful.

Ok, I tried to get it into the box and it sprang up and latched onto my neck and bit me, I grabbed it and through it across the room. There was this huge poof of smoke, and now theres this old guy with a cape sitting on my sofa.

    • Just joking...I got it outside. I slid it onto the ground, and it just laid there. The little bugger might be hurt/sick.JackRyan1/5
