  the gallery thing: i've been doing some collage pieces for a couple of years. thought i would try to get a gallery gig. the local arts council has a fantastic gallery in downtown asheville. submitted some pieces in february, checking the mail every day since waiting to hear back. finally got the letter today and I'm IN for the 09 season. great opportunity - they (the council) educates emerging artists on how to sell, promote their work. i'm fucking psyched!
