  I think that must use some kind of random generated tween class?

  Anyone got any clue on how to do this effect? any tuts or out?

  no you don't want timeline masking

  you want to mask everything randomly with action scripting.

  look up dynamic masking effects or somesuch

  I agree with Noneis, I don't think it is random I think it is different masks applied to different areas of the site.

  You could try building a number of diferent masks (either in the timeline or in script) and then applying them randomly using a random generator

  I could even be a component you could try here for something prebuilt http://www.flashloaded.com/flash…
