Since i need urgently a Portfolio on the Web, i started this week with my Design. I tried to set up something really clean, so my Work* speaks for itself. Here's my winner

It's not that there's too much wrong with the layout... but the colour scheme leaves a lot to be desired.

I kind of get a cheap and old feeling when looking at it probably the colors cause of the colors.

Needs more work, lacks of refinement
and it looks pretty uninteresting.
If you want to keep the blue is fine, but just keep it on the header or on the left side. and keep the bg neutral for the work displayThen... type: there is too much capitalisation and the headlines are generally to flat to catch the eye. Poor hierarchy as well
Dare a bit, play with it, don't make it too dull!

Sorry fella not that keen. Try different colours such as http://www.studioaka.co.uk/ and maybe get rid the of the waving dude? Needs to look tighter, all looks a bit floaty if that makes sense!?
