  Excel, you use a Micrososft product to create graphics? I would love to see the results, please post ASAP!

  would be easiest to just export the data as xml then use one of the flash graph generating packages, I think that's what the client may have seen somewhere and thing they mean. Show them a few graphs by a flash graphing pack and tell them 'this is it'.
