  outside of my house are terribly kerned, and it drives me bonkers everytime I'm outside and I see them.
  Anyone know anywhere I can buy house numbers in a decent font (preferably one of the Gothams) ?

  You can go to Fastsigns or something like that can get vinyl cut in any type you want, and then place that on metal/wood square or something.

  you could probably make your own.

  Print out template
  trace on nice block of wood
  cut out with axe of choice
  polish/sand down rough edges

  I bought some out of the back of Dwell or Atomic Ranch or some similar magazine. They weren't that expensive except for the fact that I have a 5 digit address so that added up quickly.
  I laid them out on cardboard and made a template to make sure the kerning was perfect and wouldn't you know I f*cked it up!
  My wife thinks no one will notice except my design snob friends but everyday when I get the mail it erks the hell out of me.
