  threadless is hilarious, the people that vote on there have no clue about design, all they want it vector unicorns and shit. Or vector unicorns doing shit.

  Anything with an idea will not get far. You will get told to choose a more 'interesting' typeface. I predict people will say your design is boring without even looking at it.

  Personally I like the idea and design, but what do I know I'm just a trained graphic designer with years of experience!

  They're my favourite band – so yeh, I think they're pretty good. They've also gone on "permanent hiatus" – so no more albums or gigs for, err, ever. The Power Out would be a good place to start if you want to hear them.
