Whatever happened to the shortcut, Ctrl+Click to select whatever layer your cursor is over?
Now it only seems to select the parent group - which is really fucking annoying.
I've upgraded from v.8 to CS3 so I've skipped a lot....

They removed the linking layers option in the layers pallet too which is mildly annoying.
- nah its just different. shift + click or ctrl + click and then click the littel link button at the botton of the pallette
7point34 - you'll get use to it in a few days7point34
- by shift + click i mean click on a couple of layers at a time7point34
- select multiple layers and hit the link button at the bottom. You'll find you use it less now that you select multiple layers and drag them about.skelly_b
- That was a major improvement. Now you manage files as you manage files and folders on the OS interface.Fariska
- gives you a little more freedom i guess...7point34

often I right/ctrl click and select the layer from the dropdown menu, sometimes the auto-select doesn't get the right layer
