I partial to the occasional Romeo...
They were favored by Winston Churchill - and apparently, rather than clipping them, he would poke a hole in the end with a sharpened matchstick. There are not many remains of his cigars around, because once he was finished, the remains were donated to his gardener, who crumbled them and smoked them in his pipe. Intresting stuff, eh?
