Is it possible to increase the percentage of RAM being used when rendering in After Effects CS3?
It currently say's I'm only using 60% of my 3.0GB.

Check your prefrences for AE. Close anything else.
It may be all that is required. Rendering relies more on processor speed than RAM (i think).

The speed at which they are rendered relies more on processor, but the frames are cached into RAM.

You should have Caps lock on so it doesn't have to draw each frame, and for some reason having it minimised seems to make it faster too.

Also, close your comps before rendering them. Wathing them get redrawn on screen eats RAM bigtime. No need to watch them, if you've previewed thouroughly.

Also if you have loads of stuff happening out of the frame, like you're panning across a large comp... this has screwed me a few times.
