How to get it? I got the grain working, now I need hairs and lines and shit...
What do I need?

Best way is to find some footage of hairs and lines and shit and overlay it. I'm sure there are loads of places out there you can find some pretty cheap, if not free.
If your budget allows, I recommend Tinderbox 3. It's got some pretty handy effects with a lot of control.

Never tried iMovie, but I guess if you can render the effect on a plain white background then you can comp it over the top and Robert's your mother's brother.

There is also an export setting in Quicktime Pro under Effects that does this.
