You either need to start getting paid for the projects you do... or buy the font freeloader

always puzzled by people that get so uppity about demanding others buy fonts, but have no scruples over sharing mp3's.
could one of you so insistent this person buy the font please explain why music sharing is ok but fonts aren't?

I for one don't steal/share mp3s. Bleip kindly uploaded some albums for me the other day that I had at one point (I paid for them) but lost back in the pre- iPod days. That's the only time I think it's OK to share music – if you've already bought it, no point in paying for the album twice!
Beyond that, I agree 100% with you, threadpost.

You make a very valid point.
I posit this explanation - you can pass the cost of the font along to the client, therefore it costs you - the designer - nothing so there is no reason not to buy it and pass the cost along.
You can't do that with music.
Just my theory.
