Terrible Website and the work isn't really shown well but in his day jake Tilson was THE man. There used to be a bookshop on Long Acre, Covent Garden called D’arts and it had a special section for artist and designer's self published/hand made/limited edition art books.
It was a really cool place and you could pick up odd little photocopied zines and really beautiful screen printed books made by designers etc.
Jake Tilson used to make these amazing... really urtterly amazing little books all about found objects and ephemera from his travels around the world. Just assembled little scrap books really, but he'd work on them and turn them into really beautiful things. I reckon art students made him very rich back in the day. We'd all be fighting over them soon as they appeared.
