Just put a CD into the drive and it never showed up on the desktop. I cant eject it and I can hear it spinning around. I tied to force quit but that window doesnst show up. Ive tried restarting.

Used to have a PC for 14 years and Im starting to hate macs. why is there no eject button or pinhole?

Yes as the computer is booting up press and hold eject, also try turning it upside down and doing all of these things you have tried. Also try this. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT14…
