    I watched a show on the National Geographic channel which mentioned that if we hit +6C above normal earth temperatures we're pretty much all fucked.

    Good think is that Northern Canada will be a nice tropical paradise.

    Global warming IS A FARCE. The debate is over. Humans are incapable of affecting temperature world wide. It's a proven scientific fact. Global temperature changes are 99.999999% a result of nature, maybe even higher.

    How about being positive that green house gases are the problem before trying to impose Cap and trade, the largest tax in the history of man, on us. This is an excuse for a select few to gain power. If Al Gore was serious about Global warming, he should be the first to Sell his 5000 square foot home, SUV's and his private jet. Believe me people, It's a power scam.

    huntpeg and all of you doubters, all you have to look at is the oxygen content going into our atmosphere and how thinned out it has become due to treeloss due to farming. if you dont believe me look at google earth.. every major forest on earth except in the remotest places is shrinking rapidly.

    Dont make me laugh. If global warming was true, athough it isn't since we've been cooling since '98 and it is predicted to cool for 10 more years, wouldn't it be better overall for the environment? I mean plants need heat and CO2 to grow we all know that. We all know cool dry air will kill plants and starve people.

    It seems some of us just want to control which can't be controlled. We can't control the sun from sun cycles which in-turn evaporates water which produces CO2.
