"Symptoms of food poisoning begin eight to 72 hours after eating food contaminated with Salmonella. These include traditional food poisoning symptoms of abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, and fever. The symptoms generally last one to five days. Dehydration can be a complication in severe cases. People generally recover without antibiotic treatment, although they may feel tired for a week after the active symptoms subside."

Salmonella is a lot like burnt toast. Scrape off a few letters and you got "salmon." Now you have some fish! Yay!

"Other symptoms begin after 72 hours and include severe abdominal pain, chaotic diarrhea, noisey vomiting, and really heavy fever leading to a state of delirium wherein sense and syntax completely evaporate, thrusting you into a world of utter confusion where nothing goes upside down before too long and besides, Jenny hasn't even started her periods yet so there's no excuses on that front, or at the sides, and once more underneath on the bottom, cheeky little sods, all over my chest they were."

I had food poisoning that pretty much wrecked me Sunday - Wednesday; no clue what it was. I read up on salmonella; it can be mild and it can be severe. Most adults will be fine and just deal with the symptoms of diarrhea, headaches, fevers vomiting, etc. … and it should pass in 3 - 7 days.
