@2cents: No high road here -- hell yes I bragged to him. He made my teenager life pure hell for a year and a half.
There's something about some 30 something prick LA douche leaning on you, stealing your early works for his portfolio, teasing and bashing you or others in front of other staffers as a show of power that still stings so many years later. That quick snipe was just what the Dr. ordered.
I've had some terrible bosses since. I should have added that I learned how to deal with dickheads on the regular with plenty of ease since my stint at that label.

Is this man balding? Does he have a nasal-ie voice that makes you want to scream? Does he wear old baseball caps with his suits? Because we just may have had the same boss...

Personally, no matter how much I may have hated an old boss I never burn bridges.
I've been able to learn from every work experience and I'm grateful for that. I'm sure being it was your first "legit" job, it helped you get to where you are now.
- fully agree duder. sometimes though, there is a place to 'define' the relationship, no?

Ran into an old boss I had... real old school from my first legit design job at a large company that I put on my resume. I was so excited -- working for a large record label was sort of a dream of mine since I was a kid.
And then he crushed it. He was the most God awful boss I've ever had. I was about 18-19 years old and I remember him doing "crazy record label people" shit to me all the time.
I couldn't help but to walk up to him and say hello and introduce him to my boyfriend as well ass update him on my career progress since him and I last saw each other. He added, "Yeah, I was a terrible boss." and I replied, "Yes, yes you were. Awful -- maybe the worst. *not so kidding chuckle* Well good seeing you. Later."
He left himself wide open. Why not?
