Everybody that listens to hip hop likes to talk about 1993, but no one ever talks about what was coming out of Canada at the time (for good reason i guess). But something good did come out of Canada at that time - Rascalz.
I remember seeing Rascalz perform at a snowboard swapmeet at BC Place and Dedos and Zebroc (two b-boys that were part of the group at the time) were b-boying on stage, and Rahzel performed too! It was EPIC. Any Vancouverites here at that show? Probably not.
Ive uploaded a classic album by the Rascalz from 1993 called Really Livin. This one is like a diamond in the rough - Enjoy.

Fuck the Rascals... I organised and DJ'd with them back in '98 and they stole the DAT machine we had rented... the club owner had to send some goons to a gig they had the next night to get it back...
I was much more into the East Coast / Halifax scene... Like Buck65, Sixtoo, etc...
This was classic – http://handsolorecords.com/relea…
