Howdy-
Our magazine (Creativity) and Penguin are teaming up to hold a cover design contest for a forthcoming dystopian novel called "The Island at the End of the World."
I wanted to put the word out to you QBNers who might be interested in the opportunity. It seems like a genuinely awesome way to get your work out there; the book seems like it's going to be pretty popular.
At any rate, scroll down here for more info: http://creativity-online.com/hea…
Thanks for reading and good luck!

I read a good article/interview with the artist of the Marquis de Sade cover featured on that page.
Here it is:

@Horton:
Because the only people who really buy into 'Never Work for Spec' and are really passionate about it, have already made it and don't need to, ever.Oh, sure I think working for Spec is generally a bad idea - but in this case, I think it's ok. 1. You really ARE getting exposure. 2. The company in question does pay quite a bit of money to professionals to do their work. This seems to be more of a one-off situation.

Probably a good exercise for a recent college grad, but I've got bills to pay.
