Smart Drugs?

I'm curious to know whether anyone here has ever tried so-called smart drugs for the occasional (or, perhaps, constant) upping of their game?
I've read a couple of articles that hint that scientists, soldiers, lawyers and students (the common socio groups mentioned when a drug sub-culture tries to justify its existence - all we need now are judges and policemen...) across the West have been selectively dosing up on things like Provigil, Prozac or Adderall during exam tests or periods of work pressure, so was wondering whether people in the more creative fields were doing the same? I mean, we all know that old school lifestyle drugs are rife, and there's more than one CD out there tenuously keeping his edge on coke, but we all know that's not a smart path to take for any amount of time*.
As I'm likely never going to touch amphetamines again, I was wondering whether one of these more legitimate pharma options could usefully be employed during those strenuous deadline times when a few extra hours focus here or there could make all the difference.
Anyone chime in?
(and, sadly, I'm not really interested in tales of people boshing ecstasy, speed, acid, coke or totting pot - there've been enough threads on that sort of thing).
* Actually, I wouldn't want to suggest that pharma drugs are a long-term option, but .. well, mutter.

If anyone does have any input, I'd also welcome any suggestions for where to buy this kind of stuff online...

I couldn't possibly comment on any potential effects of provigil on your concentration levels and focus and certainly would deny vehemently ever having experimented with it myself, a claim I would refute robustly as slander.
- I've noticed the quality of your diction has recently developed a lustrous sheen. Please email your online source, thankyou.detritus
- I'll look into 'focus factor' - haven't heard of that one, thanks (though I'm a little dubious of anything OTC)detritus
- Oops, wrong post.detritus
- check your mail for info absolutely not pertaining to the use of fuck all.kelpie

focus factor is ok...i take that sometimes.
but on the whole i generally just slam redbull or redline extreme.
i'd do some adderall if i could get my hands on it. :p
- I love caffeine.. but too much quickly makes me a shaky, ADHD'd mess :)detritus

Speed would be the only thing I abused heavily and if it was easier to come across here, I would still probably abuse and just deal with panic attacks, loss of appetite and all-consuming comedowns that inevitably come along with a couple days of no sleep...
- in terms of your request... I've abused much heavily...neue75_bold
- Aye, I know phet works well, but it really does screw with my head - I've never been so paranoid as when on it.detritus

I find it funny when people say they just popped a couple of extra Prozac etc to get them through the day, when the drug totally doesn't work like that. It takes at least 2-4 weeks of constant use (20-40mg per day) before you feel anything and even then you don't feel 'high'.
- kelpie0
well actually you feel nothing but the warm glow of placebo induced calm with prozac, its worthless.
- I don't doubt the placebo effect has something to do with it but it does work for some people. Just not me.Jnr_Madison
- see post below, though please; its not meant to sound as preachy and arrogant as it does :/kelpie

haha, yeah, i'm on the Modafinil/Provigil.
Been on it for 6 months or so. Was on the Adrafinil before. I buy the generic version. I do regular 48 hour wake, sleep, 48 hour wake cycles.
Also Cabergoline - pumps my sex drive and makes me geniunely multiorgasmic (i.e zero refractory period between orgasms) + recreational use of Viagra/Cialis.
Also considering Testosterone Ethanate and/or Nandrolone - but considering that i've reached competition level Muay Thai skills, i don't wanna adversly effect, fail a drugs test in the near future, so will hold out.
+ Creatine, L-Arginine, Zinc supplements and you have the makings of a fucking machine!
(oh yes, Dutasteride for the hair-loss ;) )
- you fucking lunatickelpie
- (where do you get Cabergoline?)kelpie
- Thank God you're watching, Kuzling! If you email me your sources and your address, I'll send you some goodies ;)detritus
- ok. i'll email you. The Cabergoline comes from a steroid manufacturer that only does liquid versions of drugsKhurram
- this allows them to escape regulations as they claim its for "animal" use only. Though they are fit for humans..Khurram
- Khurram0
though they have illegalised the generic version of Provigil due to a patent case - still pending. However, i still know a place that does em and is reliable.
Will share if you get hold of DHT for me ho ho ho

"here is an object that will make you feel better. Its made thousands of other people feel better. take it now and you will be fine like them at an undefinable point in the future. Its called hope, have some and come back regularly for a chat and to see how you're doing, this is called attention and understanding; its unbeatable" just like holistic medicine. I remember a friend taking prozac for quite some time who quite clearly simply presuaded themselves they were feeling better when really they had A. sought help B. received a glimmer of hope to grab and C. got some time with a nice doctor, away from family and pals. So yay for prozac and the placebo effect I suppose.
- Have you tried it kelpie?Jnr_Madison
- nah, it interferes with my lithium prescriptionkelpie
- anyway, I don't want to get into a discussion about this, especially on here.Jnr_Madison
