Would you honestly rather have numerous Americans die in another potentially massive terrorist attack? If you're not doing anything illegal, why does it matter if your cell phone is tracked for national security purposes?

This is why I still use carrier pigeons.
*scribbles note "Honey we're out of milk". *places note into holder on pigeons leg. adjusts the cute little pink pigeon goggles on bertha, my pigeon. throws bertha out window*

    *realizes window was closed*

    *gets mop*

If you're that concerned with the government tracking you, you must be doing something illegal.

    • wow, you are brainwashed.designbot1/3

    to quote hedge:
"If you're not doing anything illegal, why does it matter"

Classic statement from the ignorant. Is it worth giving up your rights and freedom to feel a false sense of security? At what point do we say enough is enough! Undercover news reports have proven time and time again our airports are no more secure than they were pre-911...the final result is we have had more rights taken away and now have to go through a huge hassle just to get on a plane that is no more safe.

We need to increase the transparency of the US government and not the people! If you give them an inch they will take a foot.

"Never underestimate the gullibility of the public"

    • How can you say they are no more secure? We've thwarted multiple terrorist tempts since 9/11.hedge1/8
      attempts*hedge2/8
have we though? how do you know?airey3/8
Umm, we've arrested the culprits? The shoe bomber, the airport attacks from London to NY...hedge4/8
      ...others I can't recall.hedge5/8
      Don't forget the sleeper cells.
      omgitsacamera6/8
ah, they were sleeping. you can catch anyone if they're not conscious.Antonelli7/8

it has to be ego that makes people think anyone else gives a rats arse about their lives. if anyone's tracking me good luck to them. i'm bored with what i'm doing, i can't imagine how shite it would be for an agent of 'the man' tasked with following this waste of a life.

put the bong down and let the cloud or paranoia fade away buddy.

    • It's not that I think I am so interesting that the gov't would want to track me....it's that they shouldn't have the right to do so...period!designbot1/5
      and btw, I don't smoke weed.designbot2/5

Even more alarming...the FBI can legally tap-in and use your cell phone as a microphone to listen to your conversations...even if your cell phone is turned off:
