I sell opium, crack, out of date valium, GHB, pot, ecstasy, speed, ether and double glazing.
not much call for double glazing in school playgrounds though, think I might drop it from the portfolio

yep tho i find its more about taking the brief, setting the terms of the relationship and being enthusiastic... i convert 80% of visits to sales :)

breadlegs... i dont count 'enquiries' as you get a lot of timewasters "my mate will do me an ecommerce site for £600... can you beat it" - not really gonna be a good client is my guess, so once theyve been vetted into having the right cash and not being knobs i book a visit.

also tip for converting - do everything by post, i know email is quicker and easier, but paper makes it a more serious proposition and dont be afraid to have stock letters with you i.e. confidentiality, terms and conditions, order form, sign off forms as they save loads of time when you're face to face
