now that im working from home i spend wayyyyy too many hours in my $40 piece of crap Staples chair..
anyone pick up and comfy *affordable* chairs lately? pref something with lumbar support & whatnot.
trying to avoid throwing 5 bills at a used HM Aeron but it's looking like the best option (/boo /hiss)

theres no way you could comfortably sit in those chairs all day… you need a chair with good armrests as well

this is the chair I own, I got my company to pay for it :)… all I had to do for it was get a back spasm by sitting in a chair which I later found out was 14 years old.
Thanks for the $1200 chair (company name) ! And for the hemorrhoids too!

I found a dude in my neighborhood today who's dad used to work for HermanMiller in GrandRapids for 30yrs. He had 4 ivory Eames Managment chairs from '95. I bought one for $750.

He also had an Executive Time-Life chair with a pre-1990 4wheel base. Asking $1500. Pretty good deal, but more chair than I was looking to buy this weekend.

i took My old peice of crap $40 chair and took the back off so its just a stool. makes me sit up straight. best desicion of my entire life. in fact you can take all the decision i have ever made and give them the old square root and now your in the ball park of this decision.
