Hello. Do any of you lovely peeps have a favoured supplier of die cut board packaging?

hahaha, does it have to be in Europe?

    • Aye, yes indeed it does, sirrah.detritus1/3
Huh. Having just checked, I've found out that sirrah means the exact opposite of what I thought...detritus2/3
      ..oops.

I've been using it for years as a sentiment of respect. d'oh.

Hmmm.. thanks, Jar - I'll have a bit of a deeper play with that later on today. Seems like a bit of a strange model, getting prospective clients to pay upfront for a search. I mean, it's not much - my preliminary search turned up one result, which if it's an ideal candidate, would be more than worth the EUR25 charge... but I have no idea beforehand whether it's what I want. I can just as easily go through a site like http://www.blueboomerang.com/ , spend 5 minutes searching and come up with as many candidates, and then ring them. My point being, the premium I pay doesn't get me my quote that much quicker?

I'm just thinking aloud, and I appreciate that you're 'just' the designer on the thing - so, whatever, thanks for your help!

ha ha, i know exactly what you mean. the "business model" changes quicker than we can develop a solution. i think its main draw is that you can build a list of hundreds of companies then email them all in one go - and yeah there's also plenty of free info at blueboomerang.com. You might also have some luck with europages.com?

truth is i'd love to be let loose on the design but unfortunately i'm stuck on front-end code...pfft.

    • I just figured that sites like that would charge the end-supplier a global one-off fee and then 'click-through' fees?detritus1/2
Thanks for your help, I'll dig through that euro site later. So many web pages.. so little time. Hence your charges!detritus2/2
