Mythomania
-----------------
Mythomania is a condition involving compulsive lying by a person with no obvious motivation. The affected person might believe their lies to be truth, and may have to create elaborate myths to reconcile them with other facts. A pathological liar is someone who often embellishes his or her stories in a way that he or she believes will impress people. It may be that a pathological liar is different from a normal liar in that a pathological liar believes the lie he or she is telling to be true—at least in public—and is "playing" the role..It could also be that pathological liars know precisely what they are doing. "Pathological liar" is a synonym for symptoms. Even though pathological lying is not recognized as a clinical disorder, legal court cases often require that the plaintiff prove that the defendant is aware that he or she is lying. This proof is most important in cases of slander and/or liability. Pathological liars often actually convince themselves that they are telling the truth, which in turn can alter polygraph tests and other questioning. Some have observed that when caught in a lie, pathological liars tend to become hostile or try to disregard the fact they lied; often playing it off as a joke.

Church, Llyod? Your alleged fortunes don't buy you fashion sense?
- mikotondria30
hahaha! - why would someone try to gain status on a design site by continually talking about how much money they had ?,,,
Seriously mate, we've all been friends in the real world with people that were either fantastically successful in their own right, had made their millions, bought the toys, or who had inherited vast unspendable burdens of fortunes, and we've all had friends that were piss poor, slept on our floors, taken our old sweaters and constantly bummed ramen noodles and smokes off us - hell, some of us have even been all those things....but through it all we learned to see the mark of man, to judge his character, and we all know that it really doesnt matter if you live on a 1000 acre gold plated mansion boat on the moon - if you keep banging on about how much money you've got or haven't got then you come across as a boring prick.- "you guys think i'm lying but i'm not"....that clears that up then, thanks.mikotondria3

fuck you for bumping this
- mikotondria30
You might very well not be a boring prick, but talking about money is a form of preening, or refining and broadcasting genetic potential signals which is largely an activity that goes on between strangers, and not between friends or people that have something else to communicate.

What Is A Troll?
The term derives from "trolling", a style of fishing which involves trailing bait through a likely spot hoping for a bite. The troll posts a message, often in response to an honest question, that is intended to upset, disrupt or simply insult the group.
Usually, it will fail, as the troll rarely bothers to match the tone or style of the group, and usually its ignorance shows.
Why do trolls do it?I believe that most trolls are sad people, living their lonely lives vicariously through those they see as strong and successful.
Disrupting a stable newsgroup gives the illusion of power, just as for a few, stalking a strong person allows them to think they are strong, too.
For trolls, any response is 'recognition'; they are unable to distinguish between irritation and admiration; their ego grows directly in proportion to the response, regardless of the form or content of that response.
Trolls, rather surprisingly, dispute this, claiming that it's a game or joke; this merely confirms the diagnosis; how sad do you have to be to find such mind-numbingly trivial timewasting to be funny?
Remember that trolls are cowards; they'll usually post just enough to get an argument going, then sit back and count the responses (Yes, that's what they do!).

Not good enough. Those are all in shambles.
Prerequisites:

2. Categorization. It must be organized.
3. An actual forum. For discussion. Etcetera.
