The Kingwood teenager's story of decapitating a corpse and using the head to smoke marijuana was so outlandish that at first Houston Police Department senior police officer Jim Adkins did not believe it.

"But the boys told conflicting stories about whether they actually severed the head — so police aren't sure if that gruesome detail really happened."
That's some bullshit writing. 1921? That's just a complete skeleton, and in terms of gruesome ... I mean really? Is it gruesome to break a pencil?
I could see if it would take like a saw or something to a fresh corpse, but if you want me to rip a head off of skeleton I can do it. I think if you breathed on a skeleton from a human dead over 80 years you could probably knock that sucker off.
