I am having a party tonight and a friend has a load of tunes on his ipod which he purchased through the itunes store. When we go to play them through my Mac they require Autorisation.
Question: if we go online and autourize each song do we have to do it every time we want to play that tune?
Thanks

you should only have to authorise the computer once, but i think there's a limit on how many computers you authorize to one account.
if you burn a cd with the songs, you can then change them back to mp3's. now they don't need an authorization... (if you wanna do it that way)

I think you can authorize up to 5 computers. You can de-authorize the computer when you're done.
If you're looking to remove the DRM so you can play them anywhere, I'd recommend NoteBurner (http://www.noteburner.com/) It's a virtual CD that will do a virtual burn and then rip. You just set iTunes to use NoteBurner as your CD player, then build a playlist and click "Burn Disc". NoteBurner will take it from there. Super easy.
Not promoting piracy of music - just fair play.

what about making an iMix? That might work...
