I am trying to export my swf movie so I can upload into my html for play on my site but... it keeps coming up just a red box when exported.
Help please, thank you.

Turn off "Export as red box"
- it would help though if I was trying to run a red box across the screen for 180 frames.Knuckleberry

Does the movie play currently when you test it from Flash?
- it plays when you hit enter, but when testing using command+enter it shows as a red boxKnuckleberry

If you can upload the FLA I will take a look at it for you, otherwise it's impossible to say.

i had to set the baseline jpg to an optimized gif - fuck you flash.
- acescence0
sorry, had something in the oven, what did i miss?
- acescence0
your image is 16,000 pixels wide? that's a bit much, no? was it perchance progressive jpg or cmyk or something?
- Knuckleberry0
it was a baseline optimized jpg. I just set it to lossless in gif format and it worked. The only problem now though is it seems to not compress. Oh well.
- Knuckleberry0
thanks for all the help though, seriously.
- acescence0
try breaking the jpg/movieclip into 2 separate parts, i think you are flirting with the edge of maximum widths. flash definitely has limits as to how wide things can be.

I had the same problem a couple of months a go. I solved lowering the resolution of the pictures. The site I was working on had a heavy load of pictures and the background was a whole long strip of pictures. Went insane trying to find out what was wrong. Lower the resolution on the main picture and worked. (www.nubestsalon.com)
