- awesome! had something very similar in my yard in SF, sound proofed it and made it my jam roomGuyFawkes
- Nice, did you build all that?scarabin
- @GuyFawkes amazing idea; my reference speakers are great loud in here BUT i'm assuming it's loud outside. @scarabin Didn't build; just modified.
; )ideaist - for dealing with hot/cold: insulate the roof, either fiberglass or foam, and enclose attic space + vent out the gables so the hot air can go somewhere.monNom
- vaulted ceilings are notoriously bad for energy efficiency compared to an attic space. You might also do a trellis or scrim to cut down radiant heat in windowsmonNom
- This is awesome BTWmonNom

I need to take more pics, but recently made some updates. Got my monitors off their stands and onto one of those dual-monitor adjustable stands. For the past few years I've sat with both screens flat, usually my work computer on the right screen and home computer on the left. Once I figured out how to use one keyboard and mouse with two Macs I realized it would be better to sit centered. So the monitor stand helps angle them inward and I get no neck strain from it.I'm a nutcase for tidy wires so I don't see any while I'm working except for audio interface and an iPhone cable.
- Oh, that's all my effect pedals in the drawers on the left. Did that a couple years ago. So convenient.mg33
- same mousemat :)kingsteven
- agree about the monitors, i have a 32" alongside my 16" MBP monitor and i'm always sitting lopsided/ correcting my posture.kingsteven
