Anyone ever owned one? How was the maintenance? I've heard they are bloody expensive to repair and maintain, is this true?
anyone have any PERSONAL experience with them? oh and I'm talking about newer ones, like 04 and later.
I love the old ones, but I know they are tough to maintain.
- Llyod0

I hope you have deep pockets and like owning something that depreciates in value by the minute.

It's a good wheels if you own a rainy estate in England and like to check on the wild peacocks every so often.

not too sound like a hippie, but if you are about to buy a car, get a used hybrid. you will be thanking yourself by the end of the year, when gas prices are 2 dollars higher than today.

My brother has a Mobile Mechanic business. RR's and BMW's have more problems than any other brands. BTW they're really just glorified FORD EXPLODERS.
- Meeklo0
hey M. if that was a response to me, than you are right.
I'll tell you more, I know nothing about cars. But something tells me that a RR has to be at least a little bit better than a Ford Explorer..
- Nah, not at you Meeks. Was directed at industrialidontknow above. I agreed, they aren't glorified Ford's.Mr_100000

Oh come on:
1. if you want to look nice and wealthy, get a Jag.
2. if you want to look pur et dur get a Land Rover ffs (the one with a metal cap and get a winch for 150€).
- Corvo0
3. If you just want to drive to work get a SMART.
- Meeklo0
pur et dur?
- Corvo0
puro e duro... pure and hard... south EU ad phrase for the "cosmopolitan weekend naturalist" ;)

I don't know anyone with a newer RR, but I have a friend with an older one ('80s maybe?) that has had almost no problems.
