  thread hijack

  i remember i did a small piece for the theater at my college. simple silohuetted face in profile that went on posters, and the like.

  it was my first print piece. i was pretty excited to see it around the campus even though it wasn't really a big deal.

  one day i saw one of my flyers tacked up on a bulletin board in the art building. i did a double take because i realized someone had vandalized the flyer. someone had drawn googly eyes and lipstick on the face. in an art building i would have expected something a bit more substantial and at first i was kinda hurt and then i found it funny, so i took it. showed one of my teachers. i told her i guess i am a published artist now, because here is my first print piece (i showed her an original) and here is my first vandal (showed her the editted one, haha) she laughed too

  i still have it somewhere...

  Its a nice idea for a project. Probably done already I guess, but to print keyline outlines of portraits and stick em up then go and colelct them when they've been filled in by the great unwashed General Bublic.
