The U.S. government paid more than $1.7 million in defense contracts over the last decade to companies owned by leaders of Warren Jeffs' polygamous sect -- with tens of thousands allegedly winding its way back to Jeffs and his church.
In fact, some of the deals were made after Jeffs was named to the FBI's "Most-Wanted List" and remained in place while he was on the run.

factor out the fact that he's a polygamist cult leader and you still have the US government giving 1.7 million to someone on the FBI's most wanted list.
And I still have to take my fucking shoes off at the airport.
Genius.

the shoes off at the airport is for the illusion of security. that's all.

quite honestly it's not a coindidence that he was getting defense contracts (no matter how large) and now all of sudden his polyigamy sect is busted and shouted all over the media. nothing in the media happens by accident and all of it, especially when it's so inbred and twisted a story, serves some sort of purpose. if you look at practically all of the cult busts in the last two decades in the usa they're always tied in someway to the cia or fbi combined with some media circus.

These contracts are awarded by some 40+ CO who has a checklist of criteria price, classification etc... that bidding companies have to meet. If they meet enough of them then they are usually awarded the contract. They don't know who's associated with who when awarding these projects.

i'm perfectly aware of their bidding on contracts etc. even they said they don't include religious affiliations in their bids but dude was obviously known to the government and related agencies so it's not that far a leap of logic to conclude he was known to be associated with these companies. someone somewhere along the line saw an opportunity to exploit the mormon sect thing at this opportune time. my point is that if there wasn't a reason to spread it all over the media at this point in time it wouldn't have, the defence contracts are absolutly suspicious in this context but they'll viewed as a 'waste of tax payers money' not an obvious point of connection. i'm not paranoid but these things simply aren't as they appear on the surface. that guy is likley a bonafied shill...but conspiracy is all good entertainment these days anyway.

I'm just saying these were companies owned by Warren Jeffs he was probably not listed as CEO, president or Point of Contact. The people awarding contracts saw the company and the POC and based their decision on that I doubt they even knew about Warren Jeffs ( the CO that is) and 1.7million over a decade is not much these were probably smaller contracts awarded at the end of the year when they have to spend up to their budget
