PK Ripper, the stuff of legend. Never saw one in the flesh in my life, ever. Rare as Bugatti.Spookyhome2/5
I came so close to getting one, but my Dad went with a local frame manufacturer instead. =(MrOneHundred3/5
i was going to look for an image of a pk ripper. glad i don't hafta. look at the curved rear fork. i bet can handle a long drop; or many.jaylarson4/5
the only good thing about the pk ripper x dc shoes collab is the frame; everything else about it is garbage.duckseason5/5

Torker, I'd forgot about Torker. We should get some old 80's BMX shots going. I used to LOVE the Bab Haro ads and the ads for Skyway bikes. Everything rocked.

THis mag was THE BIBLE in the UK during the 80's...

Z-Rims. You kerb dog them, you play them hard, you bend them, you stick em in the fridge, then next day you fucking throw them away and cry hard becuase they're still fucked after a night in the fridge.

The trouble was the spokes were standard. All well and good having bendy rims but the spokes man! the spokes!Spookyhome3/3

For the Brits. This was the mainstay BMX for track days. One up from the basic burner, looking slightly like a Haro ride, weighed 32pounds... the benchmark weight for sub-£100 machines in the day.

A skyway was my ultimate dream bike. Just looking at the pics in google made my heart pound like I was a child again. Something about the whole Skyway graphics, colourschemes, and advertising (The Skyway team invented the tabletop jump, had it in their ads before anyone else could do it) made me feel like they were like something from another dimension...

    • Some BMX buddies of mine had Skyway sponsorships, which was rare in Australia.MrOneHundred1/7
Laid back seat post, diorre 2finger lever, shimano pedals back when they were rare, diacompe alloy head.Spookyhome2/7
      Cro-moly tubing. 26lbs. A dream weight.Spookyhome3/7
