Hello everyone...
Does anyone know of any packaging design courses in London? Preferably part time (nights / weekends etc).
Always wanted to get into packaging but it was never really touched on when i was studying a few years ago (mainly just print and web).
I tried google but it was no help

would the outcome of a course that was part time or just weekends be considered by a professional design firm as a relevant qualification?
do you work for a company at the moment doing print and web?
try and wangle your way into the packaging dept by showing an interest. If you are already a designer then i dont think you need to learn about packaging, just put yourself together a good folio of concept ideas if you want to switch career paths in design then use it to apply for jobs :)

Try and find a small client with a relatively healthy budget who needs a packaging job done - buy those packaging books with templates and purchase examples of packaging you like - take it all apart, modify it all to hell, spend a few weeks printing and cutting then amending your own concepts, then try and find a printer who can make it all happen.
Last stage aside, that's kind of what I'm doing.
