I can't find any images, but the 'Hollywood OS' in 'The Island' 2005 were really cool. A desk surface was turned into the touchscreen and could be manipulated much like Microsoft's coffee table spec pc now. (need link also)

I remember this police show in the 80s, they had hidden a 2000X100000 px image within one pixel of a 640X480 so that's the first thing I tried to do when I got to use Photoshop.

this guy 's reel is a bit old, but has some nice UI. looks like he did the UI in Star Wars Episode I.

THis guy's reel has some really nice sci-fi interfaces in it. He did work in the Island movie and some other stuff.

Of course Microsoft did NOT created Surface, they acquired it for a few million, but is a pretty powerful app.

there's this 3D hollographic game I remember from one of the James Bond movies.. can't find a picture.. It was a game of world domination with real pain for the loser
