how do you make something popular and wanted? by not letting people have it... i.e. ffffound. damn it i want an invite!

invite plz

I think it should just boil down to your own preference. I think the reason why most people are turned off to ffffound is the whole invite thing. By the way if anyone has an invite to ffffound it would be greatly appreciated.

A picture is worth a thousand words

I like it because there's no comment possible and you get to see "chains" of images I dunno. I love how simple it is.

definitely not similar design/color to my site www.iheartmagazine.com

is also another good alternative to FFFFound!

Samush it is useful if you want to access them elsewhere or want to link people to later on.
Anyway, one could argue just the opposite - why not have it as a saved bookmark instead of saving it on my HD? While i do save some of the images, it is probably faster to just click a bookmark'd link than open finder and browse through folders of images.

Does anyone else think some moderation would be nice? It could be a fine line though, since how inspirational images are is entirely subjective. Maybe just more function, like having an option to not see explicit images.

oh gawd.. its image bookmarking. what's there to love or hate? fffound is simply whatever YOU make of it.
we love it looks alright too but i think in the end the there needs to be some quality control (ie invites) and it will quickly become a bloated mess.

Don't join social networking sites if you don't want to. It's simple.
Plus, I haven't seen one like FFFFound anywhere.

We Love just has too much crap, FFFound is bare bones and straight to the point.

I have all the images saved on my computer too, but it's nice to see what other people have found as well. It's networking. You learn and discover more by connecting with many people. I'm fine with the simplicity FFFFound has right now, but I would appreciate some kind of search tool, as well as faster loading times.
- oh great because we all need another (social) networking site.Samush

I think you guys have lost the plot, if you like an image enough to link it so you check back on it in the future why don't you just download it?
its unlikely you will check back on it anyway, but if you do wouldn't it be nice to have it load very quickly without a login hindering your access. Just download the image to look at in future!
If you're the type that is concerned with storage then drop all ur inspirational images onto a CD so they don't clutter you computer.
That also means you can still view the images when they get taken offline.
Pretty simple really.
