Has anybody started to build one of these?
Any issues?
Is there a future in the model which Apple has set up with 30/70 split of revenue? I don't have an iphone but I can see some potential here, what does anyone else think?

Compare 70/30 with what micropay stock photo sites are paying. I predict there will be an influx of teenage millionaire app developers before christmas.

thought I might make me a quick million on this too. Best get on rather than spend all day on here then.

John Carmack from id Software (makers of Doom, Quake) said that the 30/70 split is pretty reasonable. Other companies take more, for example developing for gaming consoles.

If you have great ideas that might be a good business, check this out:
Those guys have 100 million bucks for financing the future iPhone applications, they are willing to spend between 100k and 15 million on each project.
