The computer itself isn't too slow to run photoshop and illustrator at the same time with itunes running also, so I'm happy with it for now. I'm just running out of HD space.
I think I might just get a nice big, fast external HD, and use it like a regular hardrive. Point my itunes library at that and store all my music, videos on it since they're what take up HD space. Freelance work doens't give me much file size typically (I'm only talking about some web stuff and the occasional print job).
I don't work freelance, I have a full time agency job I just do a little on the side for friends etc.- Baskerville I have 4 websites need doing, fancy being my "friend"?Dancer

- working on my magnum opus at the moment. The finished album should be finished by the summer. I have about 10 finished tracks but I'm aiming for 14 for a proper length album. I'm playing all the parts bar drumsBaskerviIle

think this might be a good option:
http://store.apple.com/Apple/Web…- You'll probably get it cheaper somewhere other than the Apple Storecreative-

As I said, up the ram to 2GB (25 quid) and up the internal drive to either 200GB fast (7200 rpm) or 320GB regular (5400 rpm) - 100 quid.
I would up the processor too (40-80 quid depending on clock), but I like to toy with hardware sometimes.
