you know, when the time to upgrade comes.. and you need to buy a new computer.. NO ONE will pay you a single cent for it.
Even if you try to sell it on ebay, people will ask.. does it have any visible scratches? can you post photos please? and then what? huh?
are you going to cover all those scratches with photoshop?- You wont care, because being original is worth more than what you can sell it for in the end.Chazolta

kinda cool, but let me explain something:
it's going to cost quite a lot of money, and won't add any value to the laptop/ipod etc.
it's like when some chav spends £2000 doing-up a £500 car. guess what, it's still only worth £500, if not less.
just leave these things be, people. if mr jobs wanted wiggly lines on his products he would have asked mr ives to do it for him.
- Why won't you let people just have their fun.odinie
- < yeah, maybe you are right. go ahead, waste your money :)Raniator
- Your being narrow-minded.Chazolta
- not much different from getting a tattooephix
- Ha ha, except, you can't sell or throw away a tattoo.odinie
- not much different than a Jail tattoo you mean. Tattoos done by pro are a work of artMeeklo
- I wasn't saying that in a bad way.ephix
- getting a tattoo will make you cooler with "the kids" tho23kon

we are not talking about you paying them to scratch your computer. I will do it for free if you want. Its the fact that you ruin it for ever. You won't be able to sell it ever again. That's why its so expensive.

kinda cool.

It's art. It's a bout expression and I don't think re-sale value comes to mind here so why the big deal about re-sale? I dig it.
- roundabout0
I am liking that idea

I've seen pictures of that red iPod before and it looks really nice to me. If I didn't have to pay money for it, I would do it. But I would be very specific about designs, since I am picky and indecisive.

Why the hell is everyone obsessed with resale value??? That shit is dope.
- slappy0
Thats pretty cool, I might just engrave my own for a laugh. Resale huh whats that? My old machines go to my wife, and then to her parents and then in the bin.
Lifes too short for resale.
- Jaline0
Yup, I have too many people in my family for that.
- sikma0
how would having a nice design on the outside of your machine lower its resale value? if anything it should increase it.
- sea_sea0
i love the design they did on the black mac.. :) nice.
