Ok, first of all I am a super noob with web stuff, so this is probably a really easy question to answer. I set up my website with chyrp, a blog engine, and finally got it all working. The problem is that you have to go to www.mywebsite.com/chryp to see the website. When I uploaded it through fttp the folder was named chyrp, which is why you have to include the /chyrp to see it. How do I set it up so that it works for www.mywebsite.com?

I am used to using the index.html to set up the home page.

    Thanks in advance :)

Probably too late at this point. Not familiar with Chyrp but from my experience with WP you'd need to start from scratch. Alternatively, you could use a server side redirect on your index page to send viewers automatically to /chyrp

with textpattern all you have to do is change the info in the admin section to reflect the new directory, change a line in a config file to reflect the new directory and move the folder contents to the desired directory. not sure of chyrp.
    you might try google.
