very nice and while it's very busy it still works pretty well. the top navigation is good but it's hard to know where to click on the page once you get into a section. For the interactive page do an up/over state as well. I wish I could see the work better/larger without all the distraction of the website. other than that very good.

the loading time took to long for me. I closed it sorry.

Took forever to load, and don't start a sentence with 'and'.

visually very clean, usability is poor though.
for example when you first click on interactive design you can see the cross top right of the window (on a Mac??) the natural assumption is that you would click there to close it and return to the main page, only then a post-it note obscures it....
Don't like being forced into using the main menu to navigate... doesn't scream "interactive design" at me I'm afraid.

it was instantaneous loading for me.
since you use a script to open and resize a new window, why not position it at the top/left @ screen.width/2 & screen.height/2 ?
it opened kind

oh and loose the pop-up window too. many peeps have a pop-up blocker nowadays...so I am afraid a lot of viewers wont get access to your site.

Lots of problems. Pop-up window is completely and utterly pointless and is a total detriment.
I thought the illustrated desk would be animated, but since everything is fairly static it's actually somewhat of a bummer..
I also totally don't understand the logic behind having your interactive portfolio be an interface inside of a fake screen. I'm already looking through a screen.

In "Interactive Design" I would include the same circle enclosed arrow on the computer screen somewhere, that you use in the Print and Graphic Design sections to advance and cycle through.

you lost me at "launch!"

Going to be bold and blunt, disappointing site for a so called 'web design' agency. Pop up window and splash page? Come on lets move out of the 90's.
Constructively, the usability could be vastly improved by the simple addition of a menu and the removal of the hard to find links.
Try clicking the links in the portfolio (the computer button) twice for a laugh, bit of a disaster.

Try and design out the pre-loader altogether - load up the site in bits and that would eliminate most of the bad feedback above.

Thanks for all the feedback, this isn't my site, some guys i know have just started this web design "business" this is their site. as you may have noticed they're not experts in their field and they're certainly two of the biggest idiots i've ever met. the type that think they can turn their hands to anything they want and succeed at it.
you're criticisms confirmed my thoughts exactly!
i'll forward on these comments though and see if they do anything about the issues raised.

it reminds me of a powerpoint template. Everything is at the same scale thus making it look boring and bland. Play with scale and maybe use a more diverse color palette that's not monotone.

Please for the love of God... Loose the pop-up window, that really small pop-up launch window, like yesterday. Pop-up windows went out of style with "Hootie and the Blowfish" back in 90's.

I kinda reminds me of one of those 'endless' pictures, and actually really disoriented me when viewing the portfolio. Im looking at a website on a monitor, of a monitor containing a website, theres two lots of browser buttons and I had to close it before I met a future version of myself.

"Heya!"

Not bad, but there are some issues
- Embed some font and lose that times new roman loading progress: looks cheap
- Lose the popup
- On the print section is a shame having such big canvas and such small pictures. Make them bigger
- On the Graphic design section it bothers me that you have a tilted scrapbook where you show perfectly horizontal logos.
- Personally i don't dislike the interactive section to be displayed thru a monitor, but the portfolio links are quite invisible, lost on that blob of text which is that page.
Work on hierarchy, lose a lot of that text (this applies also for the other sections) and make it visually appealing as the rest of the site.Anyway you're almost there.

I am going to say I do not like it. I always find design like this a little gimmicky, look here is a computer screen, so lets so are web design work, and so on. The idea is about 3 years out of date, and to really make the design and layout work it needed some very good animation, and interactivity, which it did not have.

sorry, doesn´t work for me!
