    Hey there,

I finally hit a point where I want to release this app I wrote up for myself, and I wanted to know what you guys think.

    http://todoodoo.com/

    Any features missing?

    I'd add some confirmation buttons.

I'd add a button after the entry field saying "save" or similar and a button to mark something completed rather than have it disappear straight away.

    • So you'd rather see completed tasks on the main page, then some kind of button that says "hide completed tasks"?

    This is really nice!
I like how simple it is.

I think perhaps some users of this might wonder where to hit save task once they've typed something in. It's not always clear you can just hit enter for some people and for the simple adding of a button I think that's something that would help.

As for the task list, I couldn't seem to drag and drop them, they bounced back to the same position (FF on vista).

I also think the checkbox could do with a simple label that explains it marks the task as complete. I guess because you're designing something that (I assume) would be used by a lot of people, you really need to make it as simple as possible and just clarify some things on how they work.

I also think it might benefit from being able to edit an entry once you've made it. Might be that a todo is to "sort out switching gas suppliers" and you've done the first bit but you need to add a note to follow up a bill in a week or something.

I think you've got a nice start going but it's a tough little app to get right and keep simple. I assume probably you will have seen http://www.rainlendar.net/ which I think is a nicely built desktop todo list.

    • The dragging and dropping isn't working right, it works after you've added tasks and refresh...but upon first visit with a blank list it's not registering for some reasonyaphi
